Leinsweiler Hof

Beautifull location. In the middle of winefields. The hotel finds itself up a hill so you can see over the surrouding landscapes. The food is really good and they have a lot of local wine. They are always very friendly and everything is really clean. I can really advice to go there if you want to spent some time with your famiky or to relax :))

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the vineyards, perfect for romantic getaway. You can go meet the local wine makers and do wine tastings, do a bike tour with e-bikes (hotel can provide them at a cost), there is spa and swimming pool at the hotel, and the gourmet restaurant with fantastic terrace has a great selection of wines. The staff is very friendly.

Beautiful surroundings in a 3 generation hotel. First a few suggestions for improvement. My husband and I came a little early to swim and enjoy a drink before our Rose bath ( I will talk about that later). We went upstairs to the restaurant/bar on the terrace. One other couple was sitting there and at least three staff members walked passed us with no greeting. We wanted to sit down and my husband had to flag a staff member down to ask where we could sit. So, the service and greeting of guests could be better. Now the good stuff. After our drink "Petra" greeted us and let us know our rose bath was ready. I bought this special treatment to surprise my husband. I HIGHLY recommend it. As you can see in the picture we each had a glass of champagne and a beautiful plate of fruit. You have the tub of warm water with rose oil and roses for an hour. It was very relaxing. Afterwards my husband and I enjoyed the pool. It was not crowded, the water was the perfect temperature, and the views were amazing. There are so many wonderful things to see in this area. Eschbach is within walking distance and the town is full of brightly colored donkeys. We had so much fun reading the history and finding as many as we could. Our final morning, breakfast was amazing. Overall, I recommend this hotel. Few Americans have discovered this little jewel. Lots of great wine here!!

We've extended our days here twice because we keep finding more things to do and more about this area in general that is keeping us entertained. The hotel itself is almost a resort with a lot of higher end amenities, massage, indoor/outdoor pool, bike rentals, and more. Depending on season there is a huge wine tour festival annually as well. Only didn't give 5 stars because I know they are hiding it from me!! :)

The Leinsweiler Hof is beautifully located with a view from the roomy terrace over the gorgeous vineyards. The restaurant offers a lot of space and is therefore very well suited for large groups of guests, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand though. I went there for a birthday party for which we had a buffet. The appetizers and the desserts were great with the appetizers offering a huge variety of local and international dishes. Only the main course was lacking with okay-ish side dishes and good meat to which they unfortunately served cheap package sauce. But overall the experience was very good and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Only the prices can be a bit steep.
